Kabobs make simple ingredients look & taste grand. Generally taking little time & effort, kabobs can be made economical or extravagant. Marinate ingredients & let everyone thread a skewer to his liking---fire-up the grill! What meat, veg or fruit combos have you tried? What are good side-kick foods to round out the meal?

mushrooms, onions, green peppers, cubes of beef. Marinate them in soy sauce, garlic, sugar, and a touch of balsamic vinegar.

Does anyone make kabobs? I kinda think it's a fun & relaxing way to get guests involved, especially for picky eaters as everyone does their own thing :)

This reminds me of Greek chicken souvlaki. I absolutelllly love skewers of Greek white meat chicken (rubbed with all sorts of herbs) with a side of lemon juice, feta cheese, and tzatziki (cucumber yogurt) sauce for dipping.
