Driving from Boston to Burlington, Vermont, this weekend...

and i've never been to either place. we are looking for some "serious eats" in both cities as well as along the way that are not to be missed but also won't break the bank. any/all suggestions welcome. thanks!

Not exactly on the way, but Cristaldi's Pizza, a stand on 286 at 1A at Seabrook beach, is my favorite pizza ever. Google them and call ahead to make sure they're going to be open-- I think they're only open on the weekends this time of year. Been around since I was a wee one, and is just good, homemade pizza. Get the corner piece (they're square) with "extra cheese" which is a circle of provolone on top. Yum.

Strange Brew Tavern in Manchester, NH. Sixty-five American craft brews on tap (with a few imports thrown in) - all for two (yes, I said two) dollars on Tuesday and Sunday. Awesome. Oh yeah, and I'm the bartender. :) Don't know if that's quite on your way, though, or if it would be too helpful on your drive.

parker's maple barn in mason nh has the best doggone breakfast. maple smoked baby back ribs for breakfast? it's #300 in that 1000 places to eat before you die book..

creamy delicious new england ice cream at kimball's farm in jaffrey, nh; don't get a large--they're too big!

Try Parima in Burlington for some Thai food. The restaurant is really beautiful - it has a "Frank Lloyd Wright Room" and the rest of the place is all art deco-y.
