Top Chef on NBC...just once?!?!?
Stumbled across Top Chef on NBC Saturday night around 10pm eastern. I was excited to see it since i don't have Bravo here. Went to NBC's site to find out if it was going to be regularly broadcast, but it's like they barely want to admit they had it on in the first place or something. What gives, a one-shot crossover show???

They did the same thing last year. It's especially frustrating, as we in Canada won't get the most recent season for at least 6 months. In fact, we only just finished Season 2!

Could it be an Emmy qualification technicality of some sort? Are there any categories that are exclusive to network primetime?

I was so disappointed that the Top Chef on NBC appears to be a one time airing. After on episode I was really into the competition.
They did exactly the same thing last year with Bravo's Project Runway. I can't figure out the purpose of airing one episode of the show.
