If you can't get FAGE yogurt, then substitute with....
1 quart of good quality whole milk yogurt. Strain in cheesecloth for 3 hours. It will taste just the same. Creamy, tart, rich, smooth cheese-like yogurt.
What is your fav brand of yogurt?

i like the yogurt my mother makes at home, or fage. i usually end up buying trader joe's store brand greek yogurt, though, 'cause i'm a broke student. :P

I've never tried but I've seen some comments about Liberte yogurt and how good it is. So if Fage is out of stock...maybe try Liberte?

This must be a USA thing, as I have never heard of it. Anyone care to fill me in?

Liberté Yogourt is made in Canada, with Vermont milk. It is deliciously creamy. My favorite type is Mediterranne, with 8.3% milkfat and delicious flavors. Check out their website:

An all natural organic active culture yogurt from a local source and strain it in cheesecloth/plain white clean muslin/clean napkin over a bowl for a day.
