Hot dog or Hamburger?

With Labor Day barbeques right around the corner, if given a choice, what would take, a hot dog or hamburger?

I choose the hot dog, if natural casing (in Detroit, only Kowalski or Alexander Hornung will do), slightly charred, topped with yellow mustard and diced onion. Otherwise, I will take the hamburger!

A good burger is hard to beat, but a brat or kielbasa off the grill with Dijon mustard on a crusty roll is what I would pick.

A hot dog most of the time, but I love hamburgers.

Not-dog. ;D hehehe With lots of mustard and a really good roll.

Green chile cheeseburger all the way, although a chile dog smothered in onions and grated cheese sounds darn good.

Which would you choose? Who do you love? Daughter or Son? Hatlady you've said it all. I'm sure I'd be able to handle both. Minus the cheese adding mustard to that natural casing chile dog!

Oh man....tough question!

Funny thing is, throughout my growing up, I've been through many phases in this realm. When I was really little, I wouldn't go near a hamburger and I would only eat hot dogs. Soon after that I exhibited the exact opposite behavior, and now....I don't even know. Both are QUITE glorious.

Hamburgers, any occasion, always.

One of each, please. Seriously.

Both. No question. I do it every time.

I'm with lo82070 - but make mine 1/2 of each. My husband and I usually share so it works out great!

how 'bout one of each? i can put it away.

What veggie do you think is underrated?

Big hambuger filled with relish

I'm a "one of each" kind of person too, but if I had to pick just one, the burger would be my first choice...

Very difficult choice....but hamburger wins. I like to eat a hamburger with all the fixings on a bagel instead of a hamburger bun.

Hamburger made with grass fed organic beef--cooked medium rare and sprinkled with sea salt. No bread. Yum!
