Try Riviera Bakery at 124 Ferry Street.

I am portugese and eat breakfast there all the time. Riviera is the spot. Here is what you should have: Coffee, order what is called in Portuguese a Galon pronounced Ga-lown. Its a large coffee with milk, but damn if it is not the best coffee I have had, needs no or very little sugar. 2. Pesteis de nata, they are custard filled phyllo cups. 3. Toast and butter, trust me on this. Toast is cut texas style thick and buttered. 4. A toasted sandwich, they have a few choices, you can go with portuguese cheese or muenster cheese add ham if you want. Eat there and ou will remain fat and happy,
