I really liked Mark's column: Summer Express: 101 Simple Meals in today's NYTimes. I liked this list so much - great easy ideas I can tweak. 22, 40, 60, 99 - yum! What were your favorites?

Mark Bittman rocks. I love his show, where he takes on chefs from big snooty restaurants. It's a shame they don't air it more often.

I thought it was a great article. I wouldn't really consider them recipes more like methods. It's definitely a helpful article for the average person though because who doesn't look in their fridge and see a lone chicken breast and a sprig of basil and think 'hmm...what to do..'

Again, YUM. This got a shout-out on Lifehacker, too!

I think it's a great jumping off point and plan on doing similar stuff on vacation this year when my most taxing objective is to think about when to roll over in the sun.

it's awesome. I just printed out my favorites and put them on the fridge to remind me on those nights where I'm all "uuuuugh cooking."
