Romesco sauce...
Planning some room temperature finger food to serve w/ romesco sauce. Spanish tortilla bites? Spread on flat bread? Ideas?

When I worked in catering, we always served romesco sauce with crudites. Our version was pretty bread-heavy, so flat bread or tortillas would have been too heavy. I liked it best with bell peppers (duh) and broccoli. There's something about the consistency of the sauce that clings to broccoli florets in such a mouth-watering way... Mmm. Now I want to go make some myself!

Romesco is great with mussels also. Crudites are good but a romesco with a little bread and spanish olive oil is tops

Romesco is a natural with grilled lamb, which I like to slice and serve at room temperature.
I second the shrimp suggestion. It's good with grilled vegetables too.

Romesco is great with all kinds of grilled vegetables (escalibada) or with fish. I made the version from Madhur Jaffrey's World Vegetarian.

Steamed or roasted asparagus is heavenly with romesco. So are potatoes tossed in some kind of gremolata and then roasted.
