Let's talk nuts!
Just love the crunch & flavor of all kinds of nuts. I add them to both sweet & savory recipes. Anyone else nutty over nuts?

big fan of peanuts in all forms, in all types of cooking. also love almonds- but it's the saltiness of the peanut that really gets me! almonds are a little sweeter.

Absolutely! My favorite pie crust uses almonds in it to lend it a wonderful richness that's perfect for fruit pies. I love walnuts in my brownies and pecans any way I can get 'em. My favorites are cashews and macadamias, though. Dry roasted and salted.

Hands down favorites are salted brazil nuts and cashews.

since ive had to cut out a lot of sugary snacks, nuts have become a mainstay. I eat em on their own (macs, cashews, almonds, peanuts, oooh pecans), and i use them in every recipe i can. i find that almonds can go in to everything. i love them in a basil pesto instead of pine nuts... and pecans are fantastic in any kind of cookie (even low sugar ones!). Cashews are delicious slightly roasted and cool. I think nuts r close to a perfect food.

I tear through pistachios until my thumbnails bleed. The only thing that stops me is the pain or running out. Thank God they no longer dye them red. I was always getting "caught red handed". Shame on me...
Salted cashews are a preferred ice cream topper.

Nuts are our preferred snack at my house. czken, my husband also eats pistachios until his fingers hurt. I always have a can of cashews, almonds, and macadamias in my desk drawer for mid-day snacking. My son is a big fan of unsalted peanuts by the handful, for his breakfast. I recently found some delicious spanish roasted almonds at my grocery store. They are fantastic with some slices of cheese and salami.

Wow -- dry roasted and salted cashews and almonds, peanuts. All by themselves or thrown in a recipe. I love filberts. Macadamias -- when I was little and my dad went on a trip he'd always save the macadamias from the airplane to bring home to us. I made some spicy roasted almonds for a tailgate and they were a hit. Yeah, nuts are good.

I love Zenobia Turkish pistachios. They are hard to find in stores and they're expensive, but they don't even compare to others. I eat them by the 1 lb. bagful!
