I top my baked potato with______

Fill in the blank.
Actually, I eat my plain---skin & all. What goes on top of your perfectly baked potato?

Lately I've been going with a faux Italian vibe, and using olive oil, basalmic vinegar, basil, garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.

The other recent fave is baking and smoking the potatoes along with beer-can chicken.

Butter and truffle salt. Or just butter and salt and pepper.

Ranch Dressing...yum!!

I hit them with fresh-ground black pepper and a big pat of fresh cream butter. Ok I am hungry now....

butter, shallot salt and pepper, dollop sour cream

Chives & sour cream or just butter, salt & pepper

In London, a jacket potato topped with an amazing array of toppings is the cheap lunch of choice. My favourite is tuna salad and cheese - although in Canada getting a baked potato with broccoli and cheese sauce is a favourite as well.

Yum!

I'm surprised no one has mentioned salsa. Low cal!

Butter, lemon juice and pepper.

Crème fraîche and salmon roe. Or sour cream and chopped fried pork belly strips (or pancetta or bacon).

butter, sour cream, sweet chilli sauce and a lot of cheddar

Butter and sour cream.

Salsa and cottage cheese. I like the cottage cheese melty.

Sometimes caesar salad dressing is tasty.

I don't try going "gourmet" because some things are better left untouched...

I like mine doused with sour cream and chives and cheddar cheese. Americana!

butter, chives or green onions, lots of black pepper and salt.

Now that I'm dieting, if I actually have a baked potato, it's fat-free (I know, it's awful) sour cream and lots of freshly ground black pepper.

Pretty plain really. Unsalted butter, freshly cracked pepper and large grain sea salt.

Either with baked beans (always Heinz) and grated cheese, or with tuna mayonnaise and salad. Although last night we had some with lentil salad and raita, and that was good too.

Indulgent: butter, sour cream, s&p
Repentant: ff yogurt and garlic salt

a little bit of butter on the top and salt

Chili or garlic/chive cream cheese

carmalized onions and mushrooms!

Mmmm...I like my baked potato with LOADDDS of sour cream. Otherwise, I do like the occasional broccoli and cheddar potato.

OR I like my potatoes like this. :)
