Fast Food Extensions

I was looking for something on Dunkin' Donuts website and found that they are now offering lunch type items, pizza and flatbreads, in some locations. More here.

Has anyone tried this yet? Looks like it's only in some areas - New England, Hartford, CT, Tampa, FL and Springfield, MA.

An interesting idea for them.

No, I have not tried this, but I have to be honest I have no desire to. It sounds a lot like Dairy Queen's "Hot Eats"...stick to the ice cream!

And Dunkin, stick to the "donuts!"

During a road trip, the Husband and I stopped one day in a small Missouri town for gas and something to eat. They had a Dunkin' Donuts next to the gas station. We had a breakfast sandwich instead of their traditional donuts and believe it or not, it was probably the best fast-food breakfast sandwich I've ever had - go figure. I do agree with the DQ comment - I had a burger there once that was with me for what seemed like several days - stick with the ice cream...

When I order my morning coffee at the Burnett Road, Chicopee MA Dunkin' Donuts, being asked if I'd like a sandwich or a pizza is a bit odd. Cold pizza for breakfast is one thing; hot pepperoni pizza is another.

They must be trying to branch out into different mealtime markets. I remember back when they had soup; that and a bagel made a decent lunch.

I may have to try it, though, so I can report it here. :D
