Bacon, pickles, and beer.. pairing! in NYC.
for someone like me, who likes the savory flavs leaps and bounds above the sweet, this sounds like the ultimate food pairing adventure. check it:
"On Monday, July 23, from 7-10pm, come to Jimmy's No. 43 and enjoy five varieties of bacon and pickles paired with five different Sixpoint beers! On tap will be the Otis Stout, Brownstone Ale, Righteous Ale, Bengali Tiger IPA and a cask-conditioned pin of the Apollo Wheat. $20.00 gives you virtually unlimited consumption.
Jimmy's No. 43 is accessible via the F train to Second Avenue and walking 7 blocks north, or the 6 train to Astor Place and walking a couple of blocks east. Hope to see you there!"
uh.. yeah.. i'll be there. all the way from Connecticut!!!

Sixpoint beers are SOOO good. I used to live in Brooklyn and lots of bars had their stuff on tap, and I used to visit the brewery/tap room about once a month to get my fill of their brews.
I'm jealous! (Except for the part about bacon!)
