Anyone else have a addiction to Nutella?? Read on!

I am posting this link to a recipe for anyone here on Serious Eats who, like me, has a serious addiction to Nutella. It's amazing stuff! The post from www.bakeorbreak.com is old, from February. But the recipe looks amazing, and I had to urge to share! On top of my other baking adventures this weekend I just might have to make these!!! Oh so yummy...

Nutella is nature's perfect food---it's great on everything. I'll have to try these cookies, though. Usually, I just eat it on a banana.

When I went to Italy in June, I couldn't get enough of the stuff. Good thing they sell it in the States, or things could've gotten ugly.

Actually, nature's perfect food is probably honey (some would say beans).

Nutella was invented by Pietro Ferrero in Italy in the 1940s, and was originally called pasta gianduja. It didn't become Nutella until 1964. The stuff you get now probably comes from New Jersey.

Thanks for the recipe! I bet the Frangelico gives it a nice flavor (I'm a big fan of orange and chocolate). Nutella on pretzels, anyone?

Ahh Lou, I can always count on you to know the histroy or origin of something! So knowledgable!!

We had a Nutella facebook group at college, and to belong you had to answer a (totally bogus) questionnaire. Nutella is fantastic!

I had to click through when you started talking about Nutella! She actually made those cookies forWorld Nutella Day , which I hosted with another blogger in Italy in February!

If anyone is interested in the round-ups of those recipes (over 50!) from that day, here is the link to part 1and part 2! Hopefully you guys will join us for World Nutella Day 2008!!

When I was 15, I lived in Germany for the summer. We had Nutella on fresh bread for breakfast. I didn't find it in the states until many years later. Ironically, now that I can't eat it any more, it's found in any local grocery store!
