Question of the Day: Are you going to watch 'Top Chef' this season?

19 Comments:

Yes. Eventually. I've set my DVR to record the thing.

I'm sure I will but, as with all good talent-based reality shows, the 'drama' of it all is played up more than anything. Season 1 shows (Top Chef, Project Runway, American Idol, etc.) are always better, IMO, than subsequent seasons because less emphasis is placed on the inter-personal relationships than whatever talent is involved.

But, I'm sure each Wednesday night at 10 I'll be Top Chef-fing it.

Indeed....seeing those with tremendous egos crushed, & those with raw talent & humility soar couldn't be more entertaining

Absolutely, love that show. But I do agree with rbryants the first season was much better then last season was.

Definitely! I love Top Chef. I'm actually half watching the season 2 marathon this afternoon.

No. Plus, i dont have Bravo.

I will definitely be watching(or recording when a Mets game is on). I seem to watch all the food related competitions. The varied personalities, and the challenges keep me glued.

I'll be watching....I've also been watching the Next Food Network Star....mindless entertainment has it's place in society too!

No, I worked for Colicchio-'nuff said.

Don't watch television. Don't want to, either.

No, can't get Bravo.

Yes, even though I liked Season 1 way better. I saw the pre-Season 3 show where Season 1 chefs competed against Season 2 chefs and was highly amused by the fact that Stephen and Marcel were picked as the team leaders.

Also, Ted Allen is a judge this season! I love him.

No. I watched Season 1. Never again.

Oh yes! But only in reruns - 10pm is my bedtime!
