Besides hotels, do you know of a Chef who's open for breakfast?

Thinking back, I can't recall many actual trained Chefs who own their own places or are Executive Chefs for someone else *and* are also open for breakfast with a full breakfast menu. The majority only have dinner hours, with some also open for lunch.

At the moment, I know if only one Chef/owner in my area who is open in the morning and carries a full breakfast menu.

Hotel restaurants seem to be more the exception than the rule when it comes to a Chef serving breakfast.

So, if you know of any of these seeming anomalies near you, let's hear about them.

Don't know if this fits your mold, but Landmarc here in NYC (the new incarnation, just opened in the Time Warner Center) serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also, Balthazar.

Again, neither of these is a chef-driven enterprise (like, say Babbo or The Modern), but both serve breakfast, and neither is a diner. ;-)

There are a bunch of places here in London that are open for breakfast. St. John's Bread and Wine (Fergus Henderson), Tom's Kitchen (Tom Aiken), Roast, the Wolseley, the Rivington Bar and Grill.... I'm sure there are many more, but those are the ones that come to mind.

When I am not too lazy in the morning and make some sort of bfast on the stove, instead of grabbing a box of Fruity Cheerios, my kids call me Chef Mommy.
