Where have you enjoyed the most lavish brunch buffet?

Over the weekend, I enjoyed a phenomenal brunch at the Four Seasons in Boston. Unlimited Oysters, clams, LOBSTER (tail & claws), dim sum, peking duck, ham, roast beef, cheeses, breakfast foods...well, you get the picture. I could not believe the unlimited lobster.

But what impressed me most was the service. Our waiter told us that if there was something special that we'd like to eat the next time we had brunch (e.g., lamb), let them know the day before and they would make sure to have it for us! Now that is truly unbelievable service.

wow, sounds amazing, how much?

$65 for everything (including unlimited fresh squeezed orange juice)...alcohol is additional.

The Four Seasons Biltmore in Santa Barbara. $80, but worth every cent. Amazing. One of the best meals of my life.

The Caravelle Hotel in Saigon. Probably not the most amazing brunch if you've been living in NYC for years but after a year of amazingly delicious Saigon streetfood, I have to say that eating all-you-can-eat cheese plates, oysters, sushi, lamb, prime rib, shrimp, calamari, and desserts for $25 was quite the treat and a nice if unnecessary change from Banh Xeo, Bun Thit Nuong, and Pho. Oh, honestly, what probably did it for me was the all you can drink cocktails. Brunch started at 11 and ended at 3. I was there all 4 hours, taking liberal advantage of the drink menu.

The buffet at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Michigan. Technically, it's a lunch buffet, but you could go a bit earlier than noon. It was $35, and the dessert table alone was worth the price.

The Palace Hotel In San Francisco......The selections are abundant, varied, and all well prepared. There is a jazz group performing and the dining room with the glass ceiling is beautiful

Come on, guys..how about the best in NYC?

The Burj Al Arab, Dubai. Standard uber brunch menu + all you can eat caviar. $150.

The Chaminade in Santa Cruz, CA. $65 per person, and that was 9 years ago. Lobster, prime rib, eggs any style, champagne...

In NYC... Patois in Brooklyn has a nice deal if you like all you can drink mimosas. The food is very good too. Frankie's has a delicious Bloody Mary. Best 'brunch' I've had though is Dim Sum in the Chinatown in Queens.

I had a fantastic brunch experience at the River Cafe on the Brooklyn waterfront. Delicious food, excellent service, and a great view of Manhattan. Definitely worth the prix fixe price.
