Roasted garlic smeared on crusty bread and topped with cheese. However, any garic dish will do. It's the one thing I use most, in almost all of my cooking.

chicken and 40 cloves. i've tried various recipes for it but all are good. then you smoosh the roasted garlic on bread and top with cheese, like Lilartist does. oh god that's the best thing ever.

Here's another vote for roasted garlic smeared on crusty bread. Anything with garlic is great. I can't cook without it.

tough one but I think my vote might have to go to a good pizza with lots of fresh basil and garlic on top

filipino style garlic chicken...you take chicken parts and place crushed garlic, salt and pepper under the skin. Place it in a dutch oven with lid and cook over very low heat.

It's a toss up between a good white pizza and linguine with clams.

Garlic from crawfish boils. It soaks up all the spicy juice. It is so good smeared on one of the potatoes from the boil. And if there is any left over it makes great mashed potatoes.

Roasted garlic topping a nice slice of pizza. Libretto's on Third Ave. really piles it on.

Shrimp with garlic and oil, served with lots of bread for dipping. Best I ever had was at a place in Florida called the Columbia Restaurant. Intensely garlicky.

Plain ol' roasted garlic on some bread with good olive oil or truffle oil if you want to go crazy. I love garlic.

In good hummus, with soft, toasty warm pita bread.

Second on Stacy's green beans with garlic--totally a family favorite. We use soy sauce, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and a little sugar.

I second the vote for gambas al ajillo (shrimp with garlic). Easy to make and lick your fingers delicious.

My old favorite was the garlic grilled cheese sandwich. Toasted bread with butter and garlic smeared on it; add two slices of cheese.
I would say now... I like to take asparagus, olives, tomatoes, eggplant, and mushrooms, and roast it with lots of olive oil and garlic.

All of them! I LOVE GARLIC!!!
But if I have to choose, chicken with 40 (or more) garlic cloves...

A good scampi style shrimp....lots of garlic & butter....with bread to soak up all the leftover juice!

Inspired by this question, I decided to try infusing heavy cream with garlic to make a sauce for fresh straw and hay fettucine. (Much in the way one infuses milk with scallions to make champ.) Infused for 10 minutes, garlic flavor really came through well, but once I added the sweet ingredients (peas and peppers) and the cheese, the garlic faded a little too much for my liking. Will fine tune and keep you posted!
