Chicken pot pie.

I would be a pancake, because they are cheap, and I am poor.

To answer my own question, I would be bacon, lettuce, avocado and tomato sandwich on wheat because I am a little bad and a little good with the intent to be somewhat healthy.

Rocky Road because it's sweet, nutty, and soft. It doesn't hurt that it's comprised of three of my top ten favorite foods.

Parmesan, because I go with almost everything, and am both classic and salty!

I'm confused, Clare. Your question asked, "If you are what you eat then what food are you? But the answer you gave was to the question, "If you were a food, what would you be?" The former asks what is eaten most frequently, the latter asks one what food most represents one's personality. Very different questions with very different answers. Since I lean toward the long-winded, I'll just answer them both.
I guess I'd be chocolate covered peanut butter Cap'n Crunch and a glass of milk because it is a rare day that goes by that I don't consume a bit of chocolate and/or a bowl of peanut butter Cap'n Crunch. I've never had them together like that, but why not give it a try?
The food I keep coming back to as befitting my personality is garlic-parmesan bread dipped in really good marinara sauce. The bread, AKA "The Staff of Life," is crusty on the outside, salty and buttery on the inside with a pungent hit of garlic. Good marinara sauce is deceptively simple because it demands a lot of the cook. The sauce must have the right blend of salty and spicy with a balanced sweetness and plenty of herbs. When it is well made it's complicated, but not unnecessarily so, it's sophistocated without being pompous and it's approachable and familiar feeling, even when it's not what you normally have.

It's a toss up between coffee and dark chocolate, but if I had to go with one, and seeing as I consume more coffee than anything... I'll go with coffee.

Rooster sauce - garlicky sweet, with a spicy twist.
