PrintRosewater Hummus
When I visited London about a year ago I had the most fabulous rose water hummus. I have been looking all over for it, but to no avail. Any suggestions on where to find this treat?

why not make it? hummus is easy enough.
Cook the hell out of some chickpeas (after soaking overnight to make your life easier). Pureé them in a food mill or processor. Add tahini and garlic (roasted and raw) to taste, salt, lemon juice, and you can find rosewater at many specialty food stores. You can mail order it at kalustyans . I keep a bottle of Alwadi's in my spice cabinet at all times right next to the orange blossom water.
