Restaurant that went out of the way to help a patron in distress

I just wanted to drop this note to praise the staff at Osteria Gelsi on 9th and 38th Street. On Saturday night, after a lovely meal, my wife fainted as we were exiting the restaurant and briefly lost consciousness. The staff could not have been more helpful and concerned. After calling 911, the hostess ran out on 9th Avenue and ran across the street to direct the ambulance to the correct corner. At the same time, the manager came out to the street as well to assist, and make sure that my daughter and her friend got into a taxi safely while the EMTs took care of my wife (and thank you NYC EMS!). One of the busboys brought out a glass of orange juice. I don't know how quite to thank Osteria Gelsi, other than to post this note and praise a staff that did something far beyond what could be reasonably expected from any restaurant. I went back the following day to thank the manager and one of the staff members who happened to be working on Sunday. I realize this is not your usual food review but having eaten at Osteria del Gelsi, a few times - late after a Knicks game, and most recently after seeing "In the Heights" on West 39th Street, I can't think of a better restaurant to recommend in that part of town.
