Is your kitchen clean right now?

I hate cooking when the kitchen is a mess, but I admit that sometimes I cook anyway and just add to the disaster area! Nothing beats starting from a sparkling clean kitchen with a new recipe. How about the rest of the cooks out there?

Heh. No. It is not. But I always clean it before cooking.

Nope. But it will be as soon as I finish this job. Or the next one. I promise.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! ;-)

I usually start my weekend by scrubbing down the kitchen. Then I mess it up with some cooking. It stays dirty all week.

only clean right now because my mom is visiting and she did all my dishes and cleaned all my countertops and sink!

Yes. We always clean after we eat, so it's never dirty for long.

Everything is nice and wiped down and there's nothing living in the sink, so sure, we'll call that clean. However; I'm beginning to believe that neither stainless steel or hardwood floors stay clean for more than 4.5 seconds.

Clean, I have to clean before I turn in or else I can't sleep.

is any other woman out there in love with nelson? love to cook, hate to clean.

I love cooking. I don't mind cleaning the kitchen. But I hate doing both in one evening. My hubby picks up the slack for me sometimes.

Always clean, even when we are cooking.

Nope, it's been a mess for weeks, mostly because I haven't cook for that long. I usually clean like crazy right before and after I cook.

I am a germ freak---I always have a clean kitchen

About as clean as it gets. As I have limited space, I've developed the habit of cleaning as much as possible as I cook, washing and wiping as various ingredients simmer, bake, or steam. Facing the kitchen after a meal becomes a good deal less daunting when you don't have the cooking mess to deal with.

Live alone, tiny kitchen, can't abide a mess - so yes, my kitchen is tidy. Clean.. well, it could use a dusting, and I'm sure the cabinets door faces could benefit from a Fantastik scrub.

I have to cook and clean at the same time- - it's a "thing." That way, when the food is ready to be eaten, I'm ready to eat! There's nothing worse than a messy or dirty kitchen (well, maybe a dirty or messy bathroom...).

My boyfriend is cleaning the kitchen right now! We have a deal: I cook, he cleans. Obviously I get the better end of the bargain, but he's been going along with it for years now, so I don't know if he'll ever wise up...

I wish I was better about cleaning the kitchen after a meal. The table is cleared, but the sink has dishes in it from dinner. And my floor is in desperate need of a good scrubbing (the on the floor on your hands and knees with scrub brush variety.)

I clean, but housemates always find SOMETHING to dump into the sink! The house we're renting is up for sale, so the real estate agent hired a cleaner sort us out. It's liked we've never lived in that house before, lol!

when i was a kid ,I love cooking though i'm a boy.How ever,I hate doing things involving in cooking,I don't what have happened to me.Could you guys give me some direction?

hey what are those yogurt cups doing in the yellow comments?

Define clean....

My dishes are done (finally) but the floor and stove need a good scrub and there are areas of my kitchen that seem to collect flotsam and jetsam. Like the top of the microwave, the little counter space next to the stove that holds the spices and coffee pot, the far end of my main counter that I really can't use.......ok so my entire kitchen attracts flotsam and jetsam. I'll admit it.

But yes, there is nothing like a clean kitchen that makes you want to start cooking immediatelyl.
