Sake bar in East Village, NYC?
I'm looking for an excellent sake bar in the east village that is open at 7 (so Decibel is out), has room for more than 7 people and has good food. Any suggestions???

Sounds like Kasadela may meet all your requirements.

P.S. yes, they have food at decibel. Snacks and stuff like udon or those seafood omlet things.

Hedeh on Great Jones Street?

hedeh is alright. But can be pretty quiet, which can be good or bad. I also like the bar under bond street, which isn't strictly a sake bar (and may be on fire), but certainly has plenty of sake available.
p.s. is it just me or has anyone else noticed a sake explosion in the last few months?
