Dunkin Donuts...hehehe

I read online yesterday that Dunkin Donuts signed a 3 year contract with Racheal Ray to be their spokesperson. She will also be reviewing their product to improve the health benefits. Match made in heaven or what???

Improve health benefits? Are you kidding me? They're donuts! They aren't supposed to be healthy, they're supposed to be delicious. I only eat them once in a blue moon, and when I do, I want them fried and gloriously fatty. Please don't healthify them!

Rachel Ray and fat? Get out!

I agree with megnut, and would add, please don't Rachel Rayify them.

Can that moron not find something else to wreck?

I would have to agree with megnut as well... i don't have one very often at all, but when I do, I want a real donut, not a healthified one.

I go to Dunky D and I pay them. She goes there and gets paid. I'm jealous.

where the christ do you people live that you have to get donuts and/or coffee from d&d? IMO, coffeewise:

#1 local roaster
#2 local roasted beans @ home
#3 upscale chain (SB, etc)
#4 tim horton's
#5 green mountain at the gas station
#6 plain water with dirt in it
#7 dunkin donuts

@goodbyeohio There are occasions when I want a dunkin donut. When I don't want to make donuts and I don't want to buy a dozen of them and I am on the go, driving through the D&D is quick. I can get a muffin or a donut.
I hate Starbucks. Their coffee is too dark roasted for my taste. I also can do without the franglish. I do not drink coffee on a regular basis so when I want a cup I am not roasting my own beans. In my neck of the woods there are dunkin donuts everywhere and there are no Tim Hortons. We also have Wawa where you can get Wawa coffee and a dunkin brand donut (thats right they wholesale them).
You are a coffee snob, I appreciate that, I am a food snob. My husband is a coffee snob and will only drink trader joe's coffee.
As for Ms Ray, she hit national enquirer this week as being a naughty girl (go read it) she can stay away from my donuts. I predict RR overexposure at any moment.

Here's the link to the article.

I hardly think that we are talking about buying our coffee at Dunkin Donuts...where does it say that? And if someone does eat at dunkin donuts, they are because as what megnut said she wants her donuts gloriously fried and fatty. What we are discussing is Racheal Ray's new relationship with that company. I am from Canada and we don't even have a dunkin donuts here(I live right on the border). We have Tim Hortons everywhere, when I am in the mood for a better cup, I head to a local coffee shop that is superb. Enjoy your "#6 plain water with dirt in it" if I am in the states shopping then I would opt for Dunkin Donuts...

Hey, I like Dunkin' Donuts coffee, but I guess that's because I'm an uncultured hick.

In the Boston area (where there are many sources for both good and "good" coffee) Dunkin' Donuts coffee is considered good. I think it's definitely OK, my favorite is Peet's, but everyone I know considers that Dunkin' Donuts coffee is surprisingly good for being a chain.

My post on this exact same subject and it's absurdity was summarily deleted from chowhound - they're pretty touchy over there about criticism of TV cooks. But it feels really good to be "banned" at chowhound!

BTW - I was appalled to learn recently that she ate at the same place I did in Santa Fe - Pasqual's - how am I to live with this knowledge?

Did anybody see the spoof of her 40 dollars a day on Mad TV on Sat. nite, they had her getting drunk at every meal, eating at the same place & being a prima dona when she coudn't a certain meal made for her.

I have never been a big DD fan , the last thing they need is Rachel , I am getting sick of seeing her face on the rittz cracker boxes, talk about overexposure! on the food network they are now selling her own brand of
evoi , give me a break

Rachael Is Taking Over Everything!!! Isn't it enough that she stares us down when we walk down the cracker aisle at the grocery store?
