Anyone wanna recommend kids' cookbooks?

There are discerning kids in my life who want more than a run-of-the-mill Pilsbury cookbook (Amazon searches have proven unhelpful). Anyone know of any books good for gourmands in the making? I'm thinking of kids 4-6 years old.

I haven't read it, but I'm certain it's great. Alice Water's: Fanny at Chez Panisse. If you aren't familiar with Chez Panisse, you should be. It's a beautiful restaurant that does beautiful food.

Fanny at Chez Panisse is one of the best. Also try Salad People by Mollie Katzen and Kids Kitchen which I think is Williams-Sonoma..(too lazy to go up and check). I will be adding a list to my blog shortly, haven't gotten around to it.

OK, this was MY first cookbook, and you can find it at Alibris, or even used on Amazon, it has THE BEST first cookbook, it doesn't do stupid baby cooking, it is ALSO a healthy cookbook with neat recipes.
Love at First Bite by Jane Cooper,1977
Snacks and mealtime treats the quick and easy way

Oh, if you get this they WILL LOVE IT(so will you!), it has smoothie recipes, and puddings and no cook recipes that are WONDERFUL!
How good? I first got a copy when I was 11, I used mine until it fell apart, which is why I got the hardback version for Christmas...at age 38!
Try it, you WILL NOT REGRET IT,and they will learn a love of good, healthy food.

Marion Cunningham's Cooking with Children is wonderful. When my nieces and nephews were small we had great fun with this book.

The toy company Klutz makes a very good, super-basic cookbook for kids (it's a bit gimmicky; comes with brightly-colored plastic measuring spoons), which I had as a kid, and loved. The recipes are all very easy and rewarding, as they're kid-friendly...I recommend looking for this one at any local toy store that carries Klutz products (they also do kits for things like juggling, crafts - all written by experts in each field).

I grew up with 'Fanny at Chez Panisse', it's great for what you're looking for!
