I am. But that is our blogs hook, so I guess that shouldn't be a shocker. With that said, my wife's no slouch and can hold her own.

Growing up my Mom did most of the cooking, but my Dad's was always better. It was a treat when he decided to cook for us.

Me! My husband is the grill-meister, though.

I am, albeit my husband is very good too...
My mother was a terrible cook (a bit better since I left their home), my father cooked only once a year, so I HAD to do something: and then the adventure began!

Me. My husband is a fine cook, but doesn't really expand his repertoire (heavy on the lentils and hearts of palm) all that much. I'm the one that learns new skills (finally comfortable with deep-frying), new cuisines, and so on. We really work well together when the occasion calls, for it --no one *ever* turns down an invitation to dinner at Chez BaHa!

I'm the best cook in the house... but also the only one, as I'm single. :-)

I always had my sons in the kitchen as they were growing up. Now they are home again and dinner time is a truly a family event with everyone cooking and eating and laughing together. Everyone has their specialties, but it all works as a harmonious whole.

Depends on the menu. My fiance does somethings well, I do others well. My dad makes the best scrambled eggs EVER and I have yet to duplicate them. I find that there are some dishes my mom and I both make but hers are superior. I love that.

hands down my dad, who as a kid loved to sit in the kitchen with the family cook just to smell the surroundings. =)

Mom. Then me, but probably only b/c I have a small family and sister/father/boyfriend don't cook.

My grandmother...I'm close behind though!

I am the best cook. my lover argues over it with me though. we fight, we eat, we make love, "sweet" love i say!!!!!!!!

Either myself or my mother. I think years of smoking has affected my father's tastebuds and he tends to overseason everything. He's otherwise great in the kitchen.

my husband...uh, i can't compete against the knife skills of a professional chef. but I make a pretty kick-ass banana bread.
ambienttra at 10:29AM on 02/28/07
my mom - but i'm a close second. dad and sister don't stand a chance...
thefrugalfoodie at 1:11PM on 02/28/07
It used to be my mom, but I'm pretty sure I could give her a run for her money now.
Except her pasta sauce - I can never match it!

Me. Since both my grannies have passed, I am it.

My husband. I'm the best baker, though. We've both surpassed my Mom, who's been taking it easy and letting us serve her, which is fine. She's certainly earned it.
My four-year old has perfected pizza dough though so the future is bright.
