If someone ask "what do you want on your burger?"??????
Suppose there are endless ingredients..what would you put on your dream burger?
Theres a place in atlanta that puts jalepenos and cheddar goldfish on top of them :)

Oh hey, what a coincidence. I just posted on my livejournal a best California burgers entry. Lots of the places I listed on there allow you to put different toppings on there - for example Tommy's is famous for their chili burgers, and Fatburger lets you put stuff like eggs on them. But The Counter in Palo Alto truly has the greatest number of options, including Roasted Red Peppers, Dried Cranberries, Roasted Garlic Aoli, etc. The Roasted Garlic Aoli rocks, by the way.

Blue cheese, bacon, and sauteed onions. Provolone and sauteed mushrooms. Cheddar/American with raw red onion, pickle, and ketchup. In other words, cheese and stuff.

Bleu cheese, bacon, floured and lightly fried onion strings, mayo, horseradish and catsup on a grilled onion roll with the burger cooked medium.

Great question, Kbear. It's after my own heart! A thickish slice of raw onion, two slices of American cheese, a few pickle chips, and a judicious schmear of ketchup. Luckily, those toppings are readily available at most burger joints. I do like the idea of jalapeños and Goldfish crackers. Would give it nice texture.
