Cooking Party
Anyone know of a place in Manhattan where I can have a cooking class for my 17 yr old daughter's party birthday party? Thanks.

Sounds like a great party idea. I did a quick search and these 2 options sound promising:
The JCC Culinary Arts Program runs a private cooking party program for children and adults.
Rustico Cooking also offers private cooking parties.
Good luck!

Institute of Culinary Education offers classes as well.

It looks like you can create a class for your own needs at Camaje (http://www.camaje.com/cookingclasses.html). I attended a small class at this cute, classy bistro and it seemed like it could work for kids...

If you have the space you can have a cooking class in your home with a menu tailored to your daughters' likes and what she is interested in learning to prepare. You can search Party Pop or Gathering Guide for recommendations.

A friend said that she held a cooking party at Williams Sonoma in the Time Warner Center. Give 'em a call.
