Based on the last question posted, I would have to go with something alive...say a beating cobra heart with truffle oil.

Ooh, confit duck of leg on a bed of arugula. And a strong ale. That's it. Somehow I don't think my restaurant to would survive very long.

My restaurant would serve up lots of rustic comfort foods and would attract hoards of depressed, fat people seeking solitude at the bottom of their plates. They'd be greeted at the door with an amuse bouche of a shrimp, slathered in BBQ sauce, wrapped with a slice of bacon, and grilled over a wood fire until sizzling hot. There would be frequent cardiac episodes at my joint.

Ice cream. All variety of flavors and textures, from pea sorbet to spumoni to mint-chocolate Dippin' Dots; everything from milk shakes to sundaes to appetizers.

Bread, pizza, cake and good cold beers. Let them eat carbs!
