I'm looking for a cheap but filling entree and a good glass of house wine. We went to Shun Lee last night, so our allowance is mostly spent, but we're happy to pony up for a good plate. Suggestions?

Celeste (Amsterdamn btw 84 and 85) has very tasty italian for not much money ... it tends to be crowded though.

We'll be checking out those tacos soon! We had a great dinner at Celeste last night. I enjoyed Fried Artichokes and a Focaccia, while my companions had the fresh pasta. Thanks for the tip!

Check out Harry's Burritos on W 71 and Columbus. Happy hour every day from 4-7 and again from 10-11. Awesome burritos (they even have vegan options for those so inclined) and seriously the best Margaritas I've ever had

I think I am the only UWSer (well, ex UWSer) who's not a huge Celeste fan. Big crowds, long lines, ok food. If I was going to wait anyway, I think I'd pick Gennaro instead. That seems to fit the bill.
