Anyone know where to buy dry, packaged, strascinati pasta in NYC
Looking for this wonderful pasta made by Pasta Pasta in Italy. Can it be obtained in NYC?

I'd try Buon Italia in Chelsea Market--they have tons of imported pastas. I don't know if they sell the Pasta Pasta brand of strascinati, but they have all the unusual shapes and sizes you rarely see in regular stores.

God I love it there.

Buon Italia is a very good bet. You might also try Coluccio in Brooklyn. It's a big Italian grocery store where many Italian restaurant owners shop for stuff.

@homesichtexan & norman - grazie!
Ed - grazie mille for Brooklyn lead. My wife and I just returned from Rome and didn't have a chance to locate a package for our friends here who first discovered it in Puglia. They will be thrilled with these suggestions.
Buone Feste!
