That is a really good question. It would be great if some place like Balthazar was setting up a giant screen, but it's not the kind of thing they do. You might be better off just going to the sports bar in your neighborhood. I know they are setting up big screens at Aviator Field in Brooklyn (the old Floyd Bennett Field, 10 minutes past Coney Island on the Belt Parkway, but that's probably a little far for you to go. I'm going to do some checking and if I come up with anything I'll post again.

Thanks, I'll keep checking.

YumNYC, yesterday I passed Wogie's on Greenwich Avenue (bewtween sixth and seventh avenues). It's a sports bar that serves really good Philly Cheesesteaks. They had a sign talking about their World Cup party.
That might be a good spot. It's not French, but it will be fun, and the cheesesteaks are pretty fine.

Yesterday the New York Post listed three French restaurants airing the World Cup final:
Felix: 340 West Broadway
Opia Restaurant: 130 E. 57th St.
Tout Va Bien: 311 West 51st Street
I would say Felix (Soho bistro owned by Keith McNally (Balthazar, Pastis) is your best bet, but any of the three will probably do just fine.
