Hi Ed,
I was wondering what your recommendation is for the best moderately priced sushi restaurant in manhattan.
Thanks,

Max, in a certain way moderately priced, high quality sushi is an oxymoron. That is, good raw fish is really expensive. I have heard about a place in the east village on second avenue that is supposed to be pretty good. I'll get the name for you today.

I haven't been but a sister sushiphile swears by Tsuki on the upper east side (74th and 1st Ave). Not cheap, but much less pricey than Yasuda or Kurumazushi, and the quality is outstanding - great value for the money.

Hey Max, before I saw your post, I put up a big gushing post about Aki on West 4th. I highly recommend it.
