the best pizza
I am sorry but you evidently have never eaten at a small restaurant in Allentown Pa. called Paeso Mio, they have the absolute best Italian food I have ever eaten. As you wrote about a plain slice of pizza, I could only think of their most delicious sauce, the best cheese and their onforgettable crusts. You truly have to try this one. I am totally organic, rarely enjoy dining out as I am so very lucky to have the best beef and milk raised by a country farmer who absolutely loves his cows who raises their food himself. But Paseo Mio is my choice, no one can come close to their sauce period. I am anxious to hear your verdict.
There Will Be Pesto...
For days, and days, and days. I went overboard, thanks to a bunch of beautiful, fresh basil the size of Daniel Plainview's ego.
But what to do with it now? What do YOU brilliant and culinarily gifted people do with your pesto? What other manifestations do your large bunches of basil take? Bonus points for creativity and flourish!
Sauces: All I want is a good remoulade recipe
I've looked everywhere for a good remoulade, and there are thousands of recipes. I've tried the traditional and the new "light" crap. I just want one that tastes GOOD. Does anyone have a suggestion? We all know the key to any meal is the sauce; it's all about the sauce!

Arther Schwartz recently commented on this anchovy sauce made from the juices of anchovies being pressed for salt storage. From what I've read it's amazingly good...Anybody tried it or have some uses for it?
What is your secret to great spaghetti and meatballs?
For a meat sauce or spaghetti and meat balls.....do you make a quick sauce or simmer for hours. Do you cook the meat balls in the sauce, or saute or oven roast first? I haven't mastered it yet, although I've tried at least once a week for many years. My sauce and meatballs do not taste like the best I've had in Italian restaurants. "Gravy" and meatball help please?
