The popcorn story on Req. Eating got me wondering - do you buy any snacks or drinks at the concession stand? Popcorn, candy, hotdogs, other? Does movie popcorn taste better than what you make at home? Do you ever sneak in your own food? What might you hide? How do you hide it?

Does anyone else remember the fun 1963 film, 'The Doughnuts'?

The picture on the SE entry, 'I Welcome Our Donut Robot Overloards' sparked a memory about seeing 'The Doughnuts' back in grade school. It's mentioned in an entry over at IMDB where one commenter also remembers seeing it. I you've ever seen this movie, let's hear about it. And if you know where to get it, please say so!

...you're a cookie full of arsenic." J.J. Hunsecker (Burt Lancaster) to Sidney Falco (Tony Curtis) in the 1957 film "Sweet Smell of Success." Killer line, in a movie full of them. Anybody have other food metaphors (or references) from the Silver Screen?
