What am I going to do with these lemons?

A friend gifted me with a whole lot of lemons, and although I love lemon, I'm thinking that I ought to start considering how I'm going to use or preserve these things.

I don't want to make lemoncello. I was thinking that I could simply juice them and freeze the juice in cubes.

Anybody got any other ideas?

3 Lemons in bag turned to green dust. Keep the rest?

A friend brought me a huge bag of lemons from Costco and I didn't have room in the fridge (he brought me a ton of produce), so I left them in the bag on the counter for 2 days. I could see the perfect lemons in front, but the plastic at the back was not see-through. Three lemons had turned to smelly green dust! Mystery smell solved. There was only one other that I had to cut off part of the rind and I squeezed the juice from that for my dish, but I scrubbed all the rest, and put them in a bowl in the fridge. I hope they don't freeze - no room in the crisper. Any suggestions there would also be appreciated.

I have a question for you. Would you zest lemons that had been exposed to that green dust? Should I spray them with a bleach solution and rinse? Should I trash them? What would you do?

I originally put this in the thread about kitchen odors, but was afraid it would get lost.

Help with Dorie Greenspan's Tartest Lemon Tart.

MIne seemed to be more bitter than tart. It does call for the addition of 1 1/2 lemons in their entirety minus only the seeds. Has anyone else made this recipe?
Thanks,

Lemonade in Winter!

So as I browsed around Whole Foods today, I came across some uber-soft cute little meyer lemonade. Needless to say, I tossed one in my basket and kept on isle cruising. When I got back to my dorm, it hit me...um- what am I going to DO with this lemon? Put it on my salad? Toss it with salt on steamed spinach? Or...make lemonade! Yes yes it is about 20 degrees outside, and lemonade is more popular in the warmer weather. However, I tossed it in a glass of ice water, threw in some sweetener, mixed, and sipped! YUM! What are some other uses ya'll have for meyer lemons that are simple quick and easy...you know, for us college students living in dorms with miniscule, microscpic kitchens (hehe).

When life gives you meyer lemons...

My next door neighbor gave me two dozen meyer lemons from his tree. Other than lemon bars, what should I do with them?

meyer lemons vs. regular

I grabbed a bag of lemons the other day during a rush through the store and realized when I got home that they were Meyer lemons. Not having any prior experience with them, I started to grate one for zest in a recipe and immediately noticed the lack of strong lemon scent. What can I do with them? Why do they have this mystique about them? I think I need to be educated.

6 lemons is the theme. What will you make with them? Iron chef/top chef style question.
