Leftover Asparagus-What to make?
My aunt gave me all the left over cooked asparagus from passover dinner. I have a box of chicken stock in the cabinet so I am thinking of making a soup of sorts. I also have some cannelini beans I can throw in. Any suggestions?
Aoili Help.
For dinner tonight I roasted a whole lot of fingerling potatoes and I made a huge batch of aoili- I actually doubled the recipe. All the potatoes are gone, but now I have at least four cups of aoili left. Anyone have any ideas as to what I can do with it? I read that it will keep for a week in the refrigerator, but aside from potatoes and using it as a base for this fish soup I found in a French cookbook- I don't know what to do. Also, my aoili was rather spicy. The recipe I used called for 4-6 cloves of garlic for one recipe and since I doubled it, I used 8. I like it spicy, but does anyone know if the heat will mellow out as it sits in my refrigerator or if it will become more pronounced?
Leftover ham ideas?
I got waaaay too much ham for Sunday's feast and already have given some away. There's still half a hog left and I need some ideas quick.
Anyone got anything good to suggest?

Leftover Management Skills!
I've found myself with a potato abundance recently, and (I confess) I'm not the hugest fan of them. Does anybody have any good recipes that cleverly conceal their use of potato? I'd like to be good about using my leftovers.
Transmografied Christmas Leftovers...
During T-Giving, what we do with our leftovers starts just as many topics as how we prepare our turkeys or what sides we choose.
Did anyone do anything with Christmas Leftovers?
I made December 26th Lobster Risotto which has become almost as strong a tradition as Christmas Eve seafood. I usually do it with mixed seafood but this year I had all the lobster claws from Christmas Eve so it was lobster only.
Today I'm crocking Great Northern Beans with the ham bone from Christmas Day. There was plenty of ham left so that will be warmed and served alongside the beans.

Turkey Leftovers
I am so pleased to have won a 17 pound turkey from seriouseats! This is going to be quite an adventure for me since the biggest bird I've ever roasted was about 12 pounds. We already have a turkey for the big day (heritage turkey - first time ever trying that) so I'm thinking I'll roast my seriouseats turkey on Friday and then make some mini turkey pot pies and maybe a soup out of the meat. I'll save the heritage turkey leftovers for some turkey sandwiches. What do you do with your turkey leftovers? Have any suggestions for my extra bird??
Do you offer Thanksgiving left-overs to guests?
Seems like we all love our left-overs (to the point of protecting them!). Say you've done it all----shopped, prepared & served your guests. Now, as they are preparing to leave---do you offer those precious left-overs? Do you give away only certain foods, keeping favorites for yourself? Or are you the type that says "I'm done with this---please take!"?
What are your leftover habits?
Today, Marisa over on Slashfood posed this question to readers. I thought it would be a good talk question for SE fans, as well. To help answer this question, she asked: Do you transform leftovers into new dishes? Do you eat bites of cold leftovers standing in front of the fridge? Or are you a left-overs avoider? Me—I really, really dislike leftovers...avoider! How do you deal with leftovers?
Better the next day
I'm not a fan of leftovers but some things definitely taste better the next day, like quiche. What else do you think tastes better the next day?
Ideas for building around leftover Indian?
This is probably an apt topic for most delivery leftovers, but I think that Indian presents the biggest challenge. Certainly, you'll likely need more rice, and I've tried the ethnicky Near East brand's coconut-ginger version with Indian. Also, a room-temp cucumber salad made with Indian-type flavorings also agrees with this food. Any ideas?
