What is Pho?
I finally got up the courage to ask this, and as I've noticed a lot of pho-enthusiasts on this blog, I thought maybe some of you could shed some light on this apparently delectable food for me?
Banh mi in Austin, where can I get one?
I am a NY transplant to Austin. I want a banh mi, badly. Know anywhere I could get one? I haven't tried cruising the Anderson area yet, because I don't want to cause a 5 car pileup when I pop a Uie when I catch a sniff. So a real address or at least a name would be appreciated.
Vietnamese pâté recipe anyone?
As an avid lover of the banh mi, I crave them constantly, however, we don't have any within walking distance of my workplace so I wanted to make a simple banh mi pate for lunches, so my question is does anyone know how to make the Vietnamese pate? I've searched far and wide for a recipe and I can't find a straight answer!
