A vegan pie doesn't always call for controversial faux cheese or dry, under-seasoned bread. How many of you Slice'rs out there are willing to give vegan pizzas a shot?
Nuts seems to be all over pizza menus these days, and it's more than just the relatively traditional instances of pine nuts and pesto-like purées. Do you "do" pizza nuts? And if so, how do you like 'em served?
For some of us, pizza makes the world go round. We're willing to drive miles and cross oceans in search of the perfect pie. We travel into the farthest recesses of our imagination, probing for understanding. What does it looks like? Does it even exist? How do we get our hands (and mouths) on it?
I've been mulling over this post for a while, waiting for my boiling rage to simmer down into something resembling calm reason. But at this point, it seems unlikely that such a day will ever come. Because here's the thing. Getting your pizza to go in a bag just plain SUCKS.

We know better than to dive headfirst down the pizza-definition-hole with reckless abandon. But there's nothing wrong with a friendly round of "one of these is not like the other." Or, in this case, "are any of these self-proclaimed pizza products at all like pizza?"
Whether you call it spinning, tossing, twirling, or nothing at all, you probably have an opinion about this contentiously self-proclaimed "sport."
