Daily Slice: The Pizza Press, Anaheim, CA

Stranded at a seminar in Anaheim, I bypassed the hotel buffet and walked down Harbor Blvd to The Pizza Press. More recently, several Southland bloggers have defended Ortica's pizza style as Neapolitan-influenced... More

Orange County, California: Pizza e Vino

Pizzaphilia, the tenacious, gastronomic syndrome with which I've been afflicted for nearly my entire life, compelled me to drive down to Orange County one recent Saturday afternoon. I made this trip from LA knowing full well that I would likely encounter mind-numbing freeway traffic because I was craving a new pizza experience, and Pizza e Vino, only the second VPN-certified restaurant in Southern California, was calling me. Some of the best guilty pleasures can be found at your local county or state fair. In a spectacular show of gustatory bravery, a couple of pals and I tackle the most daunting treats at the Orange County Fair in California.
