13 Spirited Father's Day Gifts for Dads Who Drink

If you think Pop appreciated the paperweight you got him for Father's Day last year, just wait till his eyes light up when you set a bottle of primo hooch and a chunky pair of tumblers on the table and wordlessly pour out two fingers. Nearly every dad who drinks would prefer a tasty dram to a new necktie on the third Sunday of June. More

Father's Day Giveaway: Win a KettlePizza Pro 22 Kit

I first started testing the KettlePizza after-market Weber kettle grill insert a couple years ago, when the product was still in its infancy and, frankly, not all that impressive. Since then, it's gone through several iterations and is now at a point in its life where I can safely say that it's one of the best, easiest-to-use options out there for making real, wood oven-style pizzas at home. I'm talking 750°F floor-temp, 1,200°F air-temp, a less than 3 minute-bake, smoky, blistered, crisp-on-the-outside-tender-in-the-center, poofy-lipped, best-pizza-you-ever-made-at-home level stuff here. It's a $300 value, and you can enter to win one in time for Father's Day, just by answering the following question: What's the greatest pizza-related mistake your father has ever made? More

Father's Day Giveaway: Win a Baking Steel!

By this point, you've all seen what a baking steel can do for your home pizza-making. It works on the same principal as a baking stone, storing heat energy and conducting it into the bottom of your pizza to give you faster bake, a crisper crust, better flavor, and a more tender crumb. Now's your chance to win a 1/4-inch baking steel, absolutely free in time for father's day. All you've got to do is answer this one question: If your father was a pizza, what pizza would he be? More

Serious Entertaining: A Father's Day Menu For The Whole Family

When trying to decide what to recommend for a good father's day menu, I had trouble narrowing down my options. With my dad, it's easy: fresh seafood, preferably caught by himself. He does the catching, I do the cooking, we all do the eating. Unfortunately, it's not all that useful for me to go and tell you guys unlucky enough to have a non-fisherman as a father to teach him to fish by this weekend so that you can cook up some half-assed menu you found online for his special day.

So rather than press my own ichthyologically-inclined prejudices upon you, I decided instead to take a cue from the Serious Eats team and put together a menu that draws from some of their fathers' favorite dishes. And since its grilling season, I stuck with things that are backyard friendly, along with a couple of easy make-ahead desserts. It's a bit of a hodge podge, but a seriously delicious hodge podge nonetheless. More
