I had to do a double-take when I saw this photo of a steamed mini crab dumpling in Renée Suen's Flickr. I've seen some creatively shaped dim sum in my life, but never a pink dumpling in the shape of a crab, complete with pincers, a speckled "shell," and black sesame seed eyes. Because that was my reaction, and God knows I'm the definition of normalcy. These rabbits, Brodsky and Peanut, belong to Michele Humes of the food blog Fine Furious Life. Charlotte and Martin Willmott have no formal training in tiny sculpture-making, but the husband-and-wife team impressively created this farmhouse table (£85) fit for a decent-sized beetle. The couple was first inspired 30 years ago by a man making 1/12th scale chairs.
