Animals-Eating Friday: Otter Feeding on Clams

If you want to eat clams the sea otter way, float on your back in water, put a rock on your belly, and smash the clam against the rock until it opens. It's way cuter when a sea otter does it. Watch the video after the jump....

Animals-Eating Friday: 'Nolan's Cheddar' Mighty Mouse 'Commercial'

London-based filmmaker and animatronics whiz John Nolan released this video late last year, but it only seems to have made its way to the U.S. within the last couple of weeks. The fake commercial is for "Nolan's Cheddar," with the tagline "Seriously strong." Strong? If you haven't seen it yet, it's worth a watch. And you'll see what Nolan means by "strong" after the jump....

Animals Eating Friday: Koala Eating a Leaf

We realize that photos of [insert animal here] eating/doing something else with [insert food here] falls somewhere between ridiculous and maybe-not-worth-your-time. But on Fridays, they seem acceptable. Oliver, a young koala at the Riverbanks Zoo in South Carolina, was caught here chowing down on a single leaf. Now is that considered a koala snack or a whole meal? Either way he looks pretty pleased to wrap his marsupial paw around it. How to Make a Bacon Chicken Narwhal

[Flickr: DiggzDE] This has been floating around the internet for a bit but came across our desks again recently. The next time you're thinking, shoot, I really don't eat enough narwhal-shaped food, here you go. Christopher of the blog Incoherent Ramblings was craving bacon so he decided to make bacon-wrapped chicken, but narwhalify the meal. Check out the recipe and photos. The best step comes at the end: "Pick it up and make it swim through the air. Chase your girlfriend with it. Whatever." How to Make Olive Penguins

Penguin parts. These are probably meant for six-year olds, but they still provide me with gobs of joy. All you need is a black olive (for the penguin head), a bigger one (for the bulbous bod), a little carrot medallion (with a triangle sliced out for the beak), and a mozzarella ball (or cream cheese works). Extra credit if you can make them an edible igloo. It's pretty self-explanatory but check out mathea.tanner's adorable Flickr photos or if you really need step-by-step instructions, here you go. Photo of the Day: Puppy in Cupcake Batter

[Photograph: Cute Overload] If you don't mind the bits of fur, cupcakes are much better when infused with puppy goodness. See the puppy curiosity unfold at Cute Overload. Video: Drunk Fat Cat

I think there's a loose screw in my head because I nearly cried laughing watching this video of a fuzzy, grumpy-looking cat lump licking itself while at the dinner table. Admittedly, it's not even eating, but judging from the table spread it's preparing to indulge in some gyoza. And a glass of beer. And a cigarette. Watch the video after the jump....

Video: Cats Eating Yogurt

As usual, cats eating food is much more compelling than humans eating food. In this video, Rich Juzwiak's cats Winston and Rudy attack a cup of yogurt. Watch the video after the jump....

Video: 3 Cats, 1 Steak

How to eat a steak if you're a cat: Get two other cats to hold the ends for you, and then munch away at the center. This method works pretty well until the other cats realize, "Wait, this blows," and try to take the steak away from you. Watch the video after the jump....
