Over the years I've had the pleasure of playing hot dog accomplice on many encased meat adventures with SE's resident hot dogger Hawk Krall, but last week's ride might have been the most glorious. Oscar Mayer invited Hawk to pass out a whopping 1,000 of their all-beef hot dogs to a hungry crowd of Philadelphians during a sweltering lunch hour with the mighty Wienermobile nearby. I learned two things—there are few words in the English language that inspire as much happiness as "free hot dogs" and secondly, everyone loves the Wienermobile. Wienermobile Crashes into Wisconsin Home

Photograph from Fox News Imagine sitting at home minding your own business when the Wienermobile comes plowing through the wall. The hot dog-shaped vehicle crashed into a home just outside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Friday. The driver reportedly hit the gas instead of the brakes when she was turning into the driveway. What responsibilities come with being a Hotdogger? If you're chosen, you'll represent Oscar Mayer as a goodwill ambassador through appearances on radio and television stations; newspaper interviews; and visits to grocery stores and charity functions.
