Whose Hair Sheen Reigns Supreme?

Sandra Lee vs. The Price Is Right vs. The View Semi-Homemade with Sandra Lee, The Price Is Right, and The View were nominated for a Daytime Emmy award in Outstanding Achievement in Hairstyling. There's really such a category? How can Sandra Lee, one woman, on her own, compete against the bevy of belles that is Barker's Beauties? Or the gab-fest led by Barbara Walters? Then again, who cares about hair when there's a more important question: who would win in a death cage match—Barker's Beauties or ladies from The View? I bet Barbara Walters knows kung fu. Or something....

Alice Waters on 'The View'

I can't imagine a more incongruous guest for yakfest The View than the godmother of all things sustainorganica, Alice Waters. I also can't sum up why it's so surreal (well, surreal to a food person, anyway), so I'll quote from the Amateur Gourmet's take on Ms. Waters's appearance: "But you can get all this in a normal grocery store?" spat Joy, clearly uncomfortable around this weird Berkeley hippie.You couldn't find two women more different than Joy Behar and Alice Waters.
