Jamie Oliver Wins 2010 TED Prize
[Photograph: TED] British chef and food TV personality Jamie Oliver has won the 2010 TED foundation prize. The prize grants him $100,000—and something much bigger: "a wish to change the world." He'll unveil the wish on February 10 at TED2010 and we, the TED community, will make it come true. TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design; the foundation runs a series of conferences that promote "ideas worth spreading." I guess we'll see what new idea Oliver wants to spread in February.
