An instant classic from Season 31 of Saturday Night Live (2005–2006). Bill Hader as Vincent Price, hosting a Thanksgiving special that, naturally, would work better as a Halloween special. Worth watching again, if you've seen it. Video, after the jump....

When someone hands you a free sample of an energy drink, don't take that poison; throw it on the ground. And when a street vendor gives you a free hot dog, don't be his charity case; throw it on the ground. Andy Samberg throws a lot of edible things on the ground while rapping about it in this Saturday Night Live short. Watch the video after the jump....

I'm probably a sucker for continuing to watch Saturday Night Live after the election (it's returned to its usual lackluster self), but sometimes a skit or two does right. Like this SNL Digital Short. Guest host Hugh Laurie announces layoffs at a company meeting, but Fred Armisen only cares about scarfing up the cookies in the middle of the table. The skit was amusing enough watching Armisen crawl across the table and say crazy things ("I wish I could stop. Someone should put the security guards on cookie patrol"), but you'll explode with laughter about 20 seconds from the end. Video, after the jump....

This past weekend, Saturday Night Live was all about the John McCain appearance (and had very few food references), but we forgot to tell you about the weekend before, with Mad Men actor Jon Hamm promoting an innovative product. Jon Hamm's name conveniently lends itself to some toilet humor wordplay: Ham that belongs in a bathroom stall? Near the sink, you'll find a nice garnish for the perforated squares of pink meat: mustard soap (which contains no real soap). Watch the video after the jump. And does your name also carry homonyms for a weird food product?...

Are you tired of diets that actually involve eating less and exercising? Want to replace the flavored water and grapefruit regimen with 12,000 calories a day? That would be a pound of pasta, an actual pig in a blanket, a barrel of Halloween candy, and a pitcher of Hollandaise sauce—just for one meal! Jared Fogle, of Subway diet fame, makes a cameo in this SNL sketch from the weekend, but does not approve. He seems to think results will yield a blubbery belly instead of rock-hard Olympian gold medalist abs. Video, after the jump....

Before you leave the house for any party, you do the routine check: keys, wallet, phone, mints. Now you can add hot sauce carry purse to that list. Because what if they hand you a burger and don't have bottles of tongue-burning, chili pepper-laden condiments waiting? "They ain't got no hot sauce! I told you we should have called first...C'mon woman, get in the car, we got to go!" Bernie Mac, who died Saturday morning of pneumonia, was freaking out in this SNL sketch until his lady whipped out her sweet Tabasco accessory, where each compartment is insulated and calibrated for maximum hot sauce freshness. Bernie even had something for guys who didn't want to schlep around a girly...

Last night's Saturday Night Live featured Steve Carell doing a funny monologue about having drank too many Red Bulls: You know, the most amazing part of SNL is the schedule. You're putting in 18-hour days - by the end of the week, you're exhausted, and you have to count on your adrenaline to kick in. But what if it doesn't? Now that's why, as a precautionary measure, I drank six Red Bulls. Now, I never had one before, so I hope that's enough. And I also ate a bunch of Sour Patch Kids... Video after the jump....

Now I know why I never excelled at sports in gym class—I didn't eat Little Chocolate Donuts for breakfast. John Belushi did and he became a decathalon champion. It had nothing to do with training or inherent physical skill. It was all about the donuts. Watch this classic Saturday Night Live clip, after the jump....
