The San Francisco Weekly lists ten of the world's weirdest, including the White Castle "chicken ring," a Tuna Pie (erk) at Jollibee in the Philippines, and Pita Snacks from Jack in the Box. But are these really the strangest ones out there? I think Domino's Bread Bowl Pasta definitely qualifies. The Taco Bell Crunchwrap Supreme, too. And there's always McD's--looking beyond our own borders, McDonald's in Hong Kong has served seaweed-flavored French fries; New Zealand, a Quarter Pounder topped with egg and beetroot; and in the Philippines, sweet tomato pasta with hot dogs...

Domino's Launches Line of Bread Bowl Pastas

Carbophobes, stop reading. After a few months of testing the markets in Southern California, Domino's has just rolled out its Bread Bowl Pastas nationwide--"So good," the tagline goes, "you'll devour the bowl." Unlike Pizza Hut's recently launched Tuscani Pastas, delivered in enormous family-sized tubs, Domino's versions are individually sized: single-meal portions of chicken alfredo, primavera, mac and cheese, Italian sausage marinara, and chicken carbonara pastas, baked into edible bowls. And if none of these sound good, customers can build their own--starting with a penne base, you can top it with alfredo, three-cheese or marinara sauce, and add up to three meat or veggie toppings. The Great Fast-Food Wings Taste Test

In preparation for the big game, we ordered a mess of wings from the big chains: Domino's, KFC, Popeyes, Pizza Hut, and Papa John's. Braving the threat of orange fingernails, we found the spiciest, the slimiest, the all-around most delicious, and the most edible blue cheese sauce for dunking.
