We recently told you about a food blog devoted to cooking recipes from George R.R. Martin's fantasy series A Song of Ice and Fire. An SE reader pointed us to yet another one, Inn At the Crossroads, apparently the first blog to set out to cook dishes from the series. There's well over 100 recipes on the site so far (most recently, baked venison and simple Dornish fare) with corresponding passages from the books and photos of the prepared dishes. Both are worth checking out, especially if you find yourself thinking, "man, I could really go for some Westerosi cuisine right now."

Does A Game of Thrones make you hungry? Find yourself craving fig-stuffed heron, cold egg lime soup, and the other tasties found in Westeros? SE reader Adam did, so he's decided to cook every single dish mentioned and described in the whole fantasy series A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R. R. Martin. "Think of it as a medieval version of The Julie/Julia Project with a little Alton Brown on the side," he says of his new blog.
