Taste and Tell

Total Time: 60 minutes

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  2. If using crescent rolls, unroll the dough and separate crosswise into 2 sections. Press the perforations to seal, forming 2 squares. If using dough sheet, unroll dough and cut crosswise into 2 squares.

  3. Cut the brie crosswise through the center. Place one square of dough on an ungreased baking sheet. Place the bottom half of the brie in the center of the dough. Place the berries on top of the cheese, then top with the top half of the brie.

  4. Place the remaining square of dough on top of the cheese. Press the dough evenly around the cheese, then fold the dough up over the top, pressing the edges to seal completely. Brush the beaten egg over the outside of the dough.

  5. Bake for 20 to 24 minutes, or until golden brown. Allow to rest for 15 minutes; serve warm.

Tips:

Cut the edges off the bottom half of the dough and create shapes to put on top of the wrapped dough to make it decorative.

Serve with crackers.
