Any one see No Reservations last night? Thoughts? Left me numb and sad. I guess countries like Laos that don't matter to the US on an economic level rate very little attention. No Burger King, no Starbuck's who cares, right? I had no idea what a shocking history Laos and the US had. I plan to dig a little into this and find out more just because I think I should, we all should.

What's to dig into? Buy the ticket and take the ride, I did. Cambodia, all of SE Asia , Vietnam, you can get a visa at the Vientien AP same with Cambodia.
Why the guilt? Go spend your tourist dollars there instead of Europe or the Caribeean for a change.
Sheesh!
